Company History
As founder of Kriens Plumbing & Mechanical Corporation, I started out working for various plumbing companies in Des Moines and Sioux City, Iowa since 1993, gaining the experience and time needed to learn all the aspects pertaining to the profession of being a qualified and respected plumber. I took all the classes and on-the-job training needed to start my own business. Kriens Plumbing Corporation was founded on July 1, 2000. Since then, we've grown to become a trusted household name in Des Moines and surrounding communities. Kriens Plumbing expanded into the field of hydronics and changed our name to Kriens Plumbing & Mechanical Corporation in 2010. Kriens Plumbing & Mechanical Corporation is a residential and commercial plumbing contractor which delivers services such as licensed service technicians, certified consultations to both commercial and residential customers, customized alternative options for individual clients to suit specific problem solving needs, etc. Our biggest project was doing the groundwork and plumbing for a new Super Wal-Mart in Ames, Iowa in 2007.

- We had a real problem with our sump pump and its connection to the storm sewer out to the street. Dave and two of his guys spent the day today fixing the situation. On top of that, they were gentlemen and good guys. We really appreciated the service.- wkeithwise . 6/11/2019

- Highly recommend! Brian was my plumber. Came out and knew exactly what the issue was just from talking with me. Found out that it was not a plumbing issue but a drain issue. Referred me to someone and even called and spoke to that Drain company, explained the issue to them and got an appointment set up for me. Super nice, service was amazing and went above and beyond when he didn't have any obligation to do so. I will definitely use them in the future.- mindy manges. 2/30/2017
